This brand itself is wonderful. I previously ordered this direct from the pharmacy, and found this to be the best probiotic product I've ever used. I thought I'd try to save money by ordering this through Amazon. Big mistake. It's noticeably less effective. I suspect that it hasn't been properly refrigerated, or that it's old, and that most of the microorganisms have died.
Probiotics have made a big difference for me, and I trust the Designs for Health brand. The brand seems high quality and both my chiropractor and holistic practitioner have recommended the brand. This powder has a slight taste, but I did not find the taste bad at all (not chalky or anything like that). I keep this product in the refrigerator and it did not come refrigerated, so that is the only complaint I have.

Product was what i ordered but supposed to be refrigerated so i wonder if it lost some of its potency during shipping as it was not in an insulated or other type of cold pack
I was just looking at the label and didn’t see powder. I usually get spheres.
