All I wanted was a natural type of tum that is not loaded with sugar, so I ordered these 'ezmelts' sounded good until I read the ingredients - first other ingredient is mannitol-terrible. It's not needed, just ruined a possible good product. I am not on the hunt for a chewable calcium product without all that crap. Buyer beware, mannitol has horrible side effects.

This has mannitol in it, which has VERY dangerous side effects. Please look them up. If you have any kidney, heart, dehydration, swelling issues or other issues, do NOT take this. I didn’t realise they were toxic, and I wish the FDA would regulate vitamins. Or Amazon would care what they sell. There is zero need for many additives in vitamins, and this is a perfect example. Please be careful if you are taking this. Mine will hit the garbage, because I doubt they are returnable once open.

Honestly I dislike taking these, and dread it every day. They are not melty or dissolving, they are a large lozenge that you have to chew up. The strawberry flavor is not very good and some days I cant even make myself chew one up, let alone two. I would not buy again. It gets 3 stars because it is a chewable and I cant swallow pills. I have tried other EZ Melts vitamins and they were fine, just not this one!

Easy to eat after bariatric surgery.

Taste okay. So easy to pop two in my mouth and go. I love the easiness and the fact they don't upset my stomach. Very happy with this Calcium supplement. Could never swallow the horse pills, nor did I want too. I kinda look forward to taking these. ... kind of like a strawberry candy.

I love the EZ Melts line because I have a problem getting down large pills, so I take chewables or liquids. I take so many of EZ Melts supplements. And, I was looking for a good calcium-magnesium supplement. I really thought this would be the perfect thing. So, I ordered a bottle; however, I failed to look at all the ingredients before I made my purchase. My bad. To my horror, I found this supplement, and almost the entire EZ Melts line, contains mannitol, no doubt to sweeten them. I would definitely rather have a bitter or a chalky tasting supplement than one sweetened with mannitol, which can cause some very bad side effects. I'm not sure if the mannitol in all the EZ Melts I consume in a day is enough to harm me or not. Offhand, I would say no, but really, I want to be sure. I have been having some feet and ankle edema lately as well as a few other symptoms, that could be caused by mannitol, so I will stop the supplements for a while and see what happens. I don't understand why people expect supplements to taste "good." After all, they are a supplement, not candy. As adults, surely we can force a bitter pill down once a day for the sake of our health. If EZ Melts did not contain mannitol and some other harmful ingredients, they would definitely be my "go to" for supplements, and this would be a five star review. However, until the company takes the harmful ingredients out of their supplements, I will, regretfully, have to look for another line, probably a liquid. I would like to see the company address this issue. Such a shame, as these are so convenient.
