I was hoping for a miracle, and I got one! I have a nickel sized open wound directly below my right big toe, on top of my foot. I have had this wound for over 5 months! Although it was VERY SLOWLY trying to heal on its own, the fact that any pressure from shoes or slippers interfered with healing made it seem like I was never going to get it closed. I have Type II Diabetes, and had to have a partial toe amputation due to a MRSA infection a year and a half ago, so getting this wound healed before any infection set in is CRUCIAL. This has been causing me great stress and worry. I am to happy to report that after less than a week of using this powder, my wound is essentially healed! I started using it six days ago, changing the dressing and re-applying the powder every two days. I just applied my fourth dose today. Every time I changed the dressing, the wound looked greatly improved. Today, it is almost completely closed and is looking great! The surrounding area on my foot is no longer red, but normal skin colored. The swelling I've had for over 5 months has greatly receded. It is pretty expensive, and I am fortunate my wound is pretty small so I get more applications from one package, but it seems to work very quickly. It might be worth the expense to heal those stubborn wounds!

The foot doctor showed me how to use this to heal a wound on her heel. I put some on after applying neosporin to give this powder something to bond to, then cover with sterile flexible bandage. Did this every other day and wound drained and closed up good. Took about 12 days. She has diabetes. Now I will use it to heal a pressure sore on her hind end that is stubborn to heal.

I purchased this collegan powder because of a deep wound that I had. I was in the hospital/rehab for the month of March 2021. I had either an infected in grown hair or an infected hair follicle in my right groin area by my vajay jay. Had surgery and the wound was huge!! I was on vac therapy for about 3 weeks. When I came home, the wound Clinic and visiting nurse would change my bandage. But we were waiting for the insurance company to send me supplies. I purchased this product because I wanted something that the nurse could use for my dressing changes. I know $20/gram is expensive but I have had several changes using this powder. A little goes a long way. It was quite a few weeks before the insurance company sent the other collegan. The other collegan was Puracol Plus (it is kinda like a wafer), but for like 5 of them it was like $75. I originally bought 2 packs of this powder, I still have an unopened pack and still some left in the first pack. My wound has gone from 22cm x 14cm to .8 x 2.5cm
You will not be disappointed in this powder!!

I was skeptical when ordering this product. I am working with a pressure wound/ bed sore on my husbands heel. Bed sores are hard to deal with and we have been working with this for months. we are seeing a podiatrist for the wound care and he had suggested using collagen on the wound. Of course he was selling the collagen at $75 and no it was not covered by insurance. Checked amazon and saw the exact same product for $20 so I ordered it.
We started using it. I cleaned the wound with saline solution, used medi-honey around the sore and then packed the collagen loosely into the wound and placed gauze pad over it then wrapped in gauze. I have been treating it this way for one week and I already see a difference. the wound is filling in and closing nicely. I would recommend this product as it has been a godsend for us.

I have 2 wounds on my lower leg that seep constantly. I had a 3rd which healed pu in a week. The other two are better at the end of the second week. Because they are not huge I'm able to use just a large pinch on a small gauze square to apply it. Then place some gauze on top to absorb water weeping from wounds.

For months now, I had an open wound on the bottom of my big toe (just smaller than a size of a dime). Probably because of my former pre diabetes along with neuropathy. Being on my feet at work didn't help the healing process.

I've tried a few products but with limited success. This product has moved my healing forward! It took a bit of time and I finally see new skin formation and wound is getting smaller in size. This was happening while still being on my feet at work in which I've been walking with my toe pointing upward to avoid pressure on the newly growing skin.

I apply the powder with a small measuring spoon. If the wound is moist from the natural fluid it produces, then I apply the powder which absorbs into the wound. If wound is dry, I'll apply COLOPLAST HYDRO GEL WOUND DRESSING (available on Amazon) to make the powder stick. Then I apply more HYDRO GEL on top to any dry remaining powder.

BEST OF HEALTH!!
