Objective Protein Review
I have been using this product for a week. After 20 years of using protein products I have a rather extensive list of those which I have experimented with. I want to be perfectly clear, this review is NOT based on any type of "results". Quite frankly, anybody reviewing a protein claiming "results" is of questionable intelligence. There are far too many variables involved in increased lean muscle gains it is relatively impossible for somebody outside of the confines of a laboratory experiment to make such claims.

With that being said, I have given this product four stars due to a combination of factors. I will first say why I held back the fifth star. The taste is not that great. I did not buy this product for taste but rather for increased digestibility and hopefully lack of digestive issues. So far after 7 days of daily usage I do notice zero bloating or "gut bubbles". For me, at 28g protein per scoop, this type of digestibility is very much appreciated.

I will continue to buy this product.

WHAT IS COUNTRY OF ORIGIN? IT IS NOT DISCLOSED!
Hi - The product seems to be fine and I have ordered it in past. I'm a verified buyer. It is rated at 100 out of 100 by Labdoor which seems to be a legit testing source. But it occurred to me that the Muscle Feast company does not disclose the country of origin. WHAT IS THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN MUSCLE FEAST? The company says grass fed hormone free - but where is the certification that these cows are from the USA? Remember the melamine protein scam from China? I haven't forgotten. PLEASE ANSWER MUSCLE FEAST! When I have a good answer I'll modify my cautious middle of the road feedback/ rating. If I don't get an answer then I'll not be a customer anymore. I dont trust any food or supplement from China.

HIGHLY Recommend
On my second tub. I have had my stomach upset by other brands, and I believe it to be the sweeteners they used. I also wanted to upgrade to Hydrolyzed whey for a faster uptake. For comparison, I have used the following brands multiple times: MP Combat, Optimum Nutrition Whey and their Isolate Whey, CytoSport, and Muscletech.

Let me just say this stuff is great for two reasons:
1) is mixability (is that a word..? I just made it one!). This stuff mixes the easiest of any powder I have used to date. I theorize its because of the processing it takes to get the hydrolysate form a whey manufactured. Either way, it's awesome. It's the wight of powdered sugar, so be careful cause it will go everywhere!

2) the flavor, and lack thereof. First tub was unflavored, and lemme tell you, they mean unflavored. I usually mix my shake 1/2 almond milk and 1/2 cold brew coffee. I had to start adding some honey because it was a little on the bitter side, NOT due to the protein, but due to the lack of flavor or sweetner AS ADVERTISED. This is a big win because I liked being able to do it myself.

THAT being said, I am on my second tub, and I got Vanilla. Big pro, it does not upset my stomach. It also is not overtly sweet. Ever had Cytosport vanilla? it's like drinking sugar water with extra sugar (it doesn't have sugar...but it's that sweet)....some like that, I don't. This flavored tub gets a win in my book because it is neither overpowering on the flavor or sweetness. I still mix like I always do, but no honey needed. I will probably stick with Vanilla here on out, but I might put a 2lb of unflavored in the pantry as well for recipes that I want to mix it in with without flavor.

I mix this in protein shakes, oatmeal (post cooking, mixes in perfectly), Kodiak Cakes pancake mix to bring the protein content up, just about anything I can. This stuff is awesome in the world of protein, and I have been drinking shake for about 5 years now.

You may notice I didn't talk of huge gains two days after starting this....that's because I'm not 12 years old pretending to be a bodybuilder. If you are still looking for the magic supplement I have a word of advice: grow up and get educated. It doesn't exist. This is a phenomenal product for upping your protein intake and getting it digested quickly - the first is essential to building mass, the second is beneficial. Get yourself 1-2 scoops pre or post workout and lift heavy. Do that for a couple of years and you'll know what I mean.

Whoaaa..HIGH CHOLESTEROL, higher than egg, casein, & grass-fed isolate!
For somethg that's NOT flavored & the protein stripped to the barest minimum, the cholesterol is shockingly high. I had to do a double take at the nutritional label & compare it to my unflavored egg, casein & isolate proteins & this sucker was the highest, 50mg/scoop! Considering it's hydrolyzed, i thought it would be 0. SOooo, NOT ordering this again, I'll stick to the rest of my UNflav protein powders. I have no problem w/ the quality of the powder, I've ordered MF's products over the yrs, it's just the cholesterol. I prefer to buy powders w/ a low sodium, cholesterol & fat content b/c i drink shakes daily! I'm wondering why the cholesterol is so high, higher than egg & casein?!? That's a bit odd. And MF's grass-fed whey isolate is 1mg. It makes no sense.

Great basic protein powder, no grumpy guts!
I'm a macro-counting crossfitter looking to hit my protein goals, and I wanted an easy post-workout shake. I'm also a special needs eater - gluten free, and low FODMAP - just about everything gives me grumpy guts. I won't use any flavored or pre-made protein products because the sweeteners, thickeners, flavorings, etc are a recipe for disaster for me. I chose the unflavored MF hydrolysate as being least likely to upset my digestive system, and it's great! I have a shake every time I workout - 5-6 days a week - and no issues. I add dextrose and cocoa powder to this unflavored whey and mix it with the immersion blender for a perfectly chocolaty shake. It's a little foamy and chalky when first mixed, but if I mix it before I bring my son to school, it's great by the time I've coached a class and done my workout. Or maybe it just tastes better because my body's ready for some fuel, who knows. I also sometimes add PB2 powder for extra flavor, coconut water powder and/or Himalayan salt for electrolytes, and MCT oil if I'm going to a competition and need some serious rocket fuel between events. I've been using protein powders, mainly MF, for about 6 months and in that time I have seen improvements in muscle mass and strength. It certainly helps me hit my total protein goals for the day, and I like to think that having a fast-absorbing protein right after my workout is beneficial as well.

Great protein powder
Great protein powder, well worth the money, however I am planning on switching over to their Isolate protein. I've been told time and time again that Isolate is the best way to build muscle as it is the healthiest form. There is a good chance I will switch back. Overall, this is a very trust worthy company that I feel comfortable doing business with on a regular basis. They provide high quality products, have amazing costumer service and truly care about the product they are selling. There is a reason why they are the highest rated protein powder on Labdoor. If I could make 1 improvement however, I would like it if they offered this in 11 lb bags. I go through one of these in about a month and a half and have to constantly buy more protein powder. I have yet to find a reliable protein company that will sell at bulk sizes and therefore reduce the costs for everyone.
