A tip for great taste !

Squeeze the juice from a fresh full lemon. Add a teaspoon of mag-bisglycinate. Add 1/4 cup of water to dilute. The sourness of the lemon and the flavor of the bisglycinate completely neutralize each other. The result is a refreshing semi-sweet drink with a hint of citrus flavor.

Taste not bad as people say if you mix with apple juice.

I have hypo magnesia due to a cancer drug I had taken 6 years ago. Levels are extremely low so I have to supplement with over the counter drugs. I cannot swallow a pill so I choose to take a powder form. I have tried so many different types and brands and I can state without hesitation that this is the best one yet. It’s the NOW magnesium glycinate powder. Every review I have read states the taste is awful. I find it to be the EXACT opposite of all the other powders I have tried for the past six years. I mix it with about a 1/4 cup of apple juice and it mixes better than all the others I’ve tried. It doesn’t have a bad taste at all when mixed with this. Then I follow with drinking a glass of water after that. I have just started taken this the last few nights and my insomnia has improved a good bit so far- not awake all night like before. Hope I didn’t just jinxed myself. Hope you try this one but just remember to try it with apple and don’t let the bad reviews ref. the taste stop you from giving this one a try.

Works great if you are fine with being housebound.

I was hoping this product would be legit.I usually really like this brand and I don't care if it tastes awful, I can get past that if it works. It works great as far as keeping me free of muscle pain and cramps, but I'm doubting that it can be pure magnesium bisglycinate. I know it has citric acid in it, which I usually have no issues with, but every time I take one dose of this, 10-12 hours later I have about 30 seconds to find a toilet, or else! it's non negotiable! It's exactly as if I drank a big dose from one of those awful bottles of magnesium citrate you have to use to prep for a colonoscopy. The only upside it it's usually once and done, but OMG if I was stuck in traffic or out in public!

The whole point of getting the chelated form is to improve bioavailability, reduce stomach and intestinal irritation, and the sudden poo effect. It doesn't seem to irritate my gut, but having to be tied to immediate toilet access for a window of several hours is really not cool. That suggests to me that it contains a large percent of another, cheaper form of magnesium. To be fair that also seems to be a problem with a couple of other brands, they cheat on the chelated form by cutting with much cheaper forms of magnesium.

Natural relaxer

This wonderful supplement was recommended to me by the extremely helpful nutritionists at Now to help me stay asleep. I was actually looking for Magnesium Citrate but they informed me that this was more easily absorbed than the Citrate. It has replaced a sleeping pill that I was taking that caused disturbing dreams and turned me into a zombie the whole next day.

It tastes very similar to baking soda. I found the easiest way to consume it is just to pour it in a small amount of water, mix it and pop it back. I highly recommend it to anyone that has trouble staying asleep.

Works for leg cramps, blood sugar, sleep, anxiety, ADHD. No side effects. Tastes awful.

Amazing product, works well, taste almost unbearable. I have tried many magnesium supplements in the past. I have never been able to tolerate any of the others. Some caused diarrhea, heart palpitations and nightmares. I gave up long ago. I read recently this form might help with my blood sugar. I also read it is easily absorbed. I thought it might be worth a try. I have already noticed it calmed my nerves, helped me with concentration (ADHD), helped stabilize my blood sugar, helped with my abdominal distention and cramping, and relaxes my muscles. No diarrhea, nightmares or other side effects at all. And it helps with sleep. I would give it 10 stars, but the taste is bad enough that it's really hard to tolerate. I will continue on this great product. Highly recommend.

Cramps Gone, Lowered Blood Sugar also

I had to return other brands Magnesium Glycinate bulk powder since it wont dissolve in water, makes lumps or solidifies in water. Replaced it with NOW brand Magnesium BisGlycinate power. NOW brand does easily dissolves in water. Took tsp per day (1 tsp with lunch and 1 tsp with dinner) and my leg cramps and whole body stiffness went away within two days. Also noticeable lowering in my blood sugar level approx. 20 point. Thought it would be helpful for others.
