After using flavored whey isolate/concentrate from the big supplement companies for several years, I decided to try to find an organic whey concentrate. I tried a few different organic whey proteins, including NOW Foods and Swanson, and Source Organic Whey is the best I've found. Its price is very competitive, but more than anything the taste is what has made me a repeat buyer. Compared to the other unflavored organic whey brands I've tried, Source just tastes more fresh and pure. Mixed only with water it is refreshing, almost sweet, and clean-tasting with no aftertaste. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an unflavored, organic, whey protein concentrate.

I was looking for whey protein powder that didn't contain any artificial sweeteners since they make me get a headache. I found several brands but I really like this one since it's basic simple organic whey protein with nothing additional cruft. Even their packaging is biodegradeable!<br /><br />One money saving tip: you can buy it online from their own website and it's usually more cost effective than buying it from Amazon, though there is a flat shipping charge.

This is a fantastic product. The purity of the ingredients, and the fact that they get their whey from Rumiano California dairy farms sold me on this. Rumiano makes amazing grass fed, organic, non gmo, certified humane cheese. This is the equivalent whey product. It is superb in a smoothie, just make sure that you add it last and at relatively low blending speed, or it will plump up too much in the blender.<br /><br />Expensive, but so awesome.

I am a 40+ year old man who goes to the gym at least 3-5 times a week. I am very put off by the over-hyped protein supplements that dominate the market. I want pure protein, organic, and this is it. This mixes very well, doesn't clump like the over-processed garbage that most protein powders contain.<br /><br />I will add that the resealable pouch is a good concept, but the seal itself doesn't work very effectively (I'm on my second bag, so it wasn't a one time thing). I store the entire bag in a very large zip lock bag.

I replaced a more commercial whey with this because I was attracted to the organic and grass-fed characteristics. It is DELICIOUS and makes my drink in the morning very enjoyable. I love the idea of supporting grass-fed cattle farms.

That is unfair to the producer as well as the sellers since reviews for different items should not be treated as reviews for one item. SOURCE ORGANIC sells only protein concentrate, no protein isolate since there is no organic isolate. SOURCE CLASSIC is the one without any additives and all the other proteins sold by Source except CLASSIC come with some additive which makes mixing easier. Additives are not protein, simply an additive, not needed by human body.<br /><br />When choosing any food item, anything that is consumed, one always should read the ingredients and Nutrition Facts regardless of all the marketing, gimmicks and colors placed on any container. Whey Proteins are mainly in two forms, isolate and concentrate. Isolate is the highest form of protein that is absorbed within an hour by human body and concentrate within few hours. For an individual with a healthy diet, full of healthy oily wild fish, nuts and seeds, there is enough protein consumption that whey protein will not be necessary unless they are building muscles. For a marathoner, glycogen becomes more important than protein and glycogen can be achieved through organic, healthy carbs. For individuals like me who are in many sports, on the days that I pump iron or peddle up the mountain on my mountain bike, those muscles that require pressure and tearing, requires protein and all I want is clean protein not chemicals and calories which this container is all about.<br /><br />SOURCE CLASSIC, not the other ones with additives (although sold for the same price) are the purest protein concentrate sold with all certifications printed on the labelling. RAW brand, which is another organic brand sells almost the same but for thirty percent more. The sad part of SOURCE ORGANIC is that it does not even come up when doing a search on Amazon that quickly under proteins when infact it is the finest product when it comes to concentrate. FIVE STARS is what this CLASSIC mix is unlike any other organic. Bravo.
