Super Vitamins in a Super Convenient Form

This was so much easier for me to take than the multivitamin pills. Just threw a scoop in my water bottle and never thought about it again. I am sad that it doesn't include the antioxidant and mineral mix that the regular vitamins have in them. I have mutated MTHFR genes which means I can't absorb folic acid or process B vitamins (50% of women have at least one mutated MTHFR gene). This vitamin mix contains folate in easily absorbed forms rather than synthetic folic acid so I actually absorb all the vitamins. The difference has been amazing. I have better skin, better menstrual cycles, do not get sick, and my autoimmune disease is completely controlled! Added bonus: I don't get hangovers anymore!!!

Good vitamin, good company, but powder isn't for us - chewable please!

My children and I have the MTFHR mutation and require a certain type of Methyl vitamin. For this one reason alone I LOVE Seeking Health products. They are always of the highest quality with the best ingredients, and (considering the quality) a decent price. As an adult I require a higher dose of Folic Acid and B vitamins. I bounce back and forth between a high dose prescription and a daily multivitamin from SH. This works well for me. For the children it has been harder. They really like the Seeking Health Optimal Chewable vitamin. They get a half dose (one tablet) and the littlest gets a half of a half. This works well and I've seen a visible difference in their attitude and fatigue levels. HOWEVER, that vitamin is not always available and runs short of supply. I recently was unable to find the chewable tabs and bought this instead (on recommendation by SH on their website and in Amazon reviews) As a vitamin it is great. Everything you could ask for in quality and coverage. As a powder, it's harder to work with. 1) We don't make daily smoothies (and it would be hard to guarantee the kids drank all of it). 2) It mixes well with food, but I have yet to find a food it tastes well with. 3) Dosing is difficult because it's a marble-sized scoop (hard to eye 1/3 or 1/6, etc) I've taken to mixing it with a shot of the kids favorite juice and letting them toss it back. This works out (ie no fussing and they get most of it), but it's very time consuming. In the future I will buy the chewable in bulk and hope for the best. This is the ONLY vitamin I can find with everything we need. Without Seeking Health I would be playing apothecary in my kitchen with a bunch of different vitamins trying to piece something together for the kids. Overall, good company, good product, powder form isn't the best for us . . .

This Vitamin Powder was recommended to me by a medical advocate

This Vitamin Powder was recommended to me by a medical advocate. I explained to her that I have so many vitamins and it takes so long to take them all and that sometimes they give me a stomach ache. On top of that I not consistent with taking them because it is such a chore. She recommended Optimal Multivitamin Powder and putting it in my protein smoothie (although there are other ways). And can I tell you that it tastes fantastic! I usually do a vanilla protein smoothie with a few frozen organic berries, organic almond or coconut milk and this powder and it is out of this world delish! I highly recommend this product, especially for people who have issues with all those darn pills! Oh... and bonus... NO stomach ache ;-)

Great formula but not always convenient

I am really happy with this formula; decided to try it after using the active 50+ type for several years. I used to get rosacea flares about 2x/month, but since I've switched, I haven't had a single flare, so I'm assuming there's something in the other formula that is triggering it. I also love that this formula uses Stevia instead of splenda as a sweetener since splenda gives me crazy headaches. The taste reminds me a bit of Tang that I used to drink as a kid, although it says it's cherry flavored; it's also orange colored. The one downside and reason I gave this 4 stars is that it's just not convenient if you travel a lot. I may also pick up their chewable tablets or check to see if they have capsules. UPDATE: I decided to go with their chewables because I'm traveling a lot, and I've had my first rosacea flare in six months! I've just ordered the powder again to see if this is the fix, as I suspected. I'll update again after I test this theory a couple of times. UPDATE: the powder definitely prevents rosacea flares for me. I've gone nearly a year without one as long as I stay on this powder. I have begun to hate the taste though. Wish they had another flavor to switch between.

best product, best price, best taste

I have a BS in nursing - think chemistry, nutrition, pathology and hundreds of sick people -- and an RN license. Optimal multivitamin powder contains premier nutrients in quantities startlingly generous. I struggle to achieve adequate sleep and balanced meals, so taking an excellent multivitamin is mandatory. This is honestly the "best for the price" I have found. The taste is, amazingly, good enough to make you forget this is vitamins. This is my third order and I am very satisfied, have made this my daily multivitamin, and will continue to buy.

Not a nap in sight!

This stuff is amazing. I'm using it as part of my vitamin protocol (which also includes Raw CoQ10 and Ribose) to deal with my fibro and I haven't needed a nap since the day I started. There are other brands out there that have similar content, yes, but this one is about as pure as you can get, with no added GMOs, etc to clutter up and diminish the health benefits.
