Bad Ingredients

I have used Airborne for a while and I dont have any doubt that its effective, and I was happy to see a chewable form, but when I received it I was shocked to read the ingredients list which includes :
Magnesium Stearate which can hinder absorbtion of nutrients in the stomach
Sucralose also known as splenda which kills good bacteria in your intestine
red food color
blue food color
Artificial flavoring
I think this company does not understand its customers, people who buy Airbourn are those who love natural products and try to stay away from pharma drugs, these people would not like the above ingredients in their bodies
I wish they would try to improve their formula and make it more natural.

What happened? I've been ordering these for over a year now and suddenly the flavor has changed and the pills are smaller. These are AWFUL tasting. I hope its a one off thing or I'm canceling my subscribe and save. Ugh.

Update: I received my second order and they have indeed changed the formula and the tablet size. Yuck. They're gross. I've cancelled my subscribe and save and will look for something else. Bad move, Airborne. Cheaping out loses loyal customers.

Prefer these chewables to the fizzy tabs, and prefer Airborne over Emergen-C

For whatever reason, Airborne is a much more effective immune supplement for me as compared to Emergen-C. If I take it really regularly - as in the 3x a day that is recommended - it actually helps give me energy and I feel it keeps me from getting sick. Before I started taking this, I was picking up every bug. I haven't been sick at all since starting it regularly (a few months ago, during the peak of the winter bugs). I also traveled internationally and managed to avoid getting sick before, during, and after that trip! I have two complaints though, which is why I haven't given it 5 stars. One is the price. A the current price, it ends up being a quarter shy of two bucks a day to take this at the 3x a day dosage, which is the dose I'm finding effective. If I do that every day during cold season (which, having two little kids, I'm exposed to all sorts of viruses for the better part of the year), it would be fifty bucks a month! My second complaint is all the crap they shove in these little chewables. Artificial sweeteners and food dyes? No thanks.

All in all, I really love the effectiveness of the product, I enjoy the flavor, and I find chewables much easier to get down than the fizzy tabs in water. But the price point and the chemicals makes it not quite perfect. I'll probably keep taking them before/during trips and when we have an active illness in the family, just because it is so effective for me, but I can't really justify taking them throughout cold season (which I'd like to).

Tastes Great, But Not Worth Price

The product is good, however they don't really let on to the fact that in order to get the benefits of 1 of the original tablets you add to your drink, you need to take 4 of these. Thats fine and all, but then the 32 tablets in this bottle only last for 8 times rather than the 10 that you get out of the other tablets and this is more money. But I guess its the price you pay for not having to carry around water to drop the tablets in...

Airborne chewables. Different taste.

The advertisement lists the ingredients - using a picture of the label - however, the omission of 40m of sodium is very important for the customer. It makes the chewable taste different and it is not a good flavor. Not sure why this was carelessly omitted but it makes a difference. Will be sending them back.

The best product to preventing a cold if you catch it ...

The best product to preventing a cold if you catch it right before it becomes one. I work with the public and can't even begin to explain what a life saver this product is. First told to me by my doctor and then proven over and over. You must catch the cold when you start to feel it. Once the cold is full blown it will not help. Once you start to feel the cold emerging start eating a few every two hours. In Berry flavor they are like candy.
