First of all, I love these vitamins! They are yummy, and now I don't have to gag everytime I take my vitamin. But after reading all the reviews about these lovelies melting in transit, I was hesitant to purchase them from Amazon. However, I was lured by the price that was much less than my national drugstore chain, and knowing how generous Amazon's return policy is, I figured I'd give it a try. Well, apparently Amazon takes our feedback very seriously, because this is what I received today. Here are my vitamins, packed snugly in a thermal blanket with an ice pack inside, and all is perfect. I'm pretty sure Amazon paid as much to ship these to me for free, as I paid for the vitamins in the first place!!

I bought these because I wanted to take a multivitamin but I have a really hard time taking large pills. I kept buying other brands of multivitamins and then let them sit on the shelf until they expired. These I take EVERY day, sometimes I'm even tempted to take them twice! I've been taking them for about half a year now. One nice thing about this vitamin is that it is gluten free even though many gummies are not. It is also free of milk, eggs, peanuts or soy (as listed on the bottle). The only downside is that the nutritional profile is not as complete as some other (solid) multivitamins. Also, make sure you look at the price of the different sizes (150 gummies vs 200 gummies) because sometimes the smaller bottle is a better deal.<br /><br />If you'd like to know the nutritional profile before buying, it is below. For some of the lesser known vitamins, I listed some of their effects on the body. I try to take the vitamins with a meal, as this aids in absorption of some of constituents. I have not died once since taking these precious vitamins.

I am a cancer patient and on chemo. Chemo messes with how things taste and makes good things taste a bit less good. These taste great and I'm definitely experiencing a change of taste in other foods. If I can gleefully eat these, the taste is fine so all these other whiners about the taste are just whiners. And the texture is fine too. I'm trying to stay as healthy as I can be and keep my strength up and keep up on my vitamin intake on this brutal treatment.

These vitamins taste just like gummy candy, have a great mix of vitamins and minerals, and can be very beneficial for people who have trouble swallowing pills. Just make sure to:<br /><br />1. Take the correct dosage (2 a day). Since these are so much like candy, it can be tempting to overdo it. Some of the vitamins contained in this product are fat-soluble, and will build up in your body. Overdosing can lead to a potentially serious condition called vitamin toxicity.<br /><br />2. Brush your teeth afterwards. Since these are gummy, they have an increased ability to stick to your teeth and do harm to your enamel. Take these before you brush.<br /><br />3. Stock up in cooler weather. These can arrive as a melted mess when ordered in the summertime on an especially hot day. The heat can fuse these together, so if it's hot where you live right now, you might consider waiting.

I had previously purchased these vitamins from a local grocery store in the smaller bottle, so here I thought I was purchasing the same product - only more, right? HECK NO! What you don't see from the clever packaging is that these vitamins are completely covered IN SUGAR! That's right, globs of sugar!!! 5 grams of sugar each piece! I am a Type II diabetic and bought these vitamins for healthy eating. These are anything BUT healthy! Who in the world would do such a thing to vitamins?!?!?
