Got these for our guinea pig because they need Vitamin C added to their diet. She's not picky, really, but she does love these little pills!

Guinea Pig & Vet APPROVED !!
I bought these for my son's guinea pig as a supplement. After a lot of research I concluded most guinea pigs don't like and won't take the pet supplements on the market. The vitamin C "treat" the vet gave him he wouldn't touch and vitamin C drops in the water degrade too rapidly to do any good. Also the taste discourages the guinea from drinking water. I did prepare myself for the possibility he'd reject these too. However, to my utter surprise he LOVED THEM. I drop one in his pellet bowl once a day and, as soon as he hears it drop, he leaves what he's doing or eating and runs to the bowl. WHEW ! What a relief. Also, our vet approved them so we're good all around.

We feed these to our guinea pigs because of reformulation problems with a previous product. They seem to like them.
