I was originally prescribed this brand from an consult with an Integrative medicine doctor at the VA, while also taking the B12 shots. The pills were prescribed as a was to transition from the shots. I would go to the clinic to have the shots administered by a nurse twice a week, but later got tired of doing that to include did not notice any difference with the shots. Then started on the pills, and if took in the morning, there was always a substantial difference in energy and an overall mental clarity. Has since buying my own and recommending this brand to others. I've even tried several other pill version brands that were very similar to to the shots, in that there was zero noticeable difference. This brand however,works better than the shots. And I take them much like how I was doing the shots, maybe twice a week, but always when I'll have a stressed day on the calendar or would want to be at my best mental alertness. Unlike most other vitamins and supplements this brand really makes life better.

This is a small tablet, easy to swallow. seems to be working fine
