My son is 6 years old. He has been diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder. He gets over stimulates very easy and has a hard time controlling his emotions. He also has trouble with being social as he is so all over the place and has trouble following with other kids. He has a hard time communicating and as a result leads to a lot of fights a school. Lids know how to get him going and he doesn't have the ability to control himself enough to re refeain. He lacks the ability to see cause and effect and also what behaviors were wrong. He gets a thought in his mind and out it comes from his mouth, big distraction in class. He is 100 miles per hour until he shuts down and falls asleep. As a baby we had to use weighted blankets or he would not stay still which resulted in leg and body pains. I have spent tons of money researching ways to help him and seeking all types of mental and occupational help for him with no luck at all. It continued to get worse at school. I was no longer able to find daycare for him as a result of his behaior. I was at my wits end and our lives were pure stress and caos. I finally found this product and read the reviews. I thought it was worth a try. He's been on it two weeks now. He takes two tabs in the morning only. The first day on it was hell, he had a serious melt down at school and had in-school suspension, but I kept giving it to him. About three days in a major change started to be noticed. He hasn't had any major behavior issues and has been doing much better, he is more typical child behaviors now. He has been comming home happy because he has been earning various prizes for his behavior changes. This has started to increase his confidence and has started him on getting excited about school. So far this supplaments has been the best thing that has happened to our family. We are able to enjoy fun family activities (he has two older brothers) without him having a break down and I haven't revived any further phone calls from his school or any negative reports from his brothers. His brothers were spending a lot of their time ensuring he wasn't gettinf into trouble at school and also making saceaficies in order to keep him from having a break down. We are enjoying our home life again and it's pure bliss and relief!! I would recommend anyone who can relate to this post to give this a try. Maybe you too will finally find peace! Best of luck!

First, let me say I never take the time to write reviews (though I appreciate those of you who do!). This is maybe my 4th review of anything; ever. I feel that strongly.<br /><br />My 8 year old son (second grade) has always had trouble staying on task and focused. He's a dreamer. He's not hyper, but can be a bit immature. Until this year we were able to cope with it. However, the expectations for his focus, time management and ability to follow multi-step verbal instructions have increased this year and he was not adjusting. I'm quite sure he could be easily diagnosed with inattentive add. Not yet ready to face that diagnosis and potential treatments, I went on the hunt for dietary changes I could make that might help. After struggling through the two months of school this year, I changed his diet to add more protien (protein shake every morning with high levels of BCAA's) and reduce sugars, I improved the quality of his Omega supplement (to Nordic Naturals soft gels), and added Attentive Child. We saw a change in days. His teacher (without knowing we'd made a change) sent me a note within the first week that things had improved remarkably. Even, he saw and appreciated the change. He went from B's the 1st quarter, to all A's in the 2nd. Like others, I wasn't sure what was working. Frankly, I thought maybe it was just our need to work out the back-to-school bugs. But, we stuck with the diet changes and supplements just in case.<br /><br />We ran out of Attentive Child 6 days ago. I've been buying these from GNC, just out of convenience. I have a GNC Gold Card and you get 20% off the first 7 days of the month, so I told myself I'd just wait until Feb 1 and go get more. This has been the WORST week ever; multiple notes home and a phone call from his teacher last night. It wasn't until she asked last night if anything had changed that I made the connection. These things WORK!! I just went to GNC to pick up a small bottle and ordered several large ones from Amazon. We will not be without these things again! My two younger sons, 6 and 5 will start taking them too. And, after reading another review here, I think I will start taking them too. Who can't use some help staying focused and increasing their productivity! I'm a beleiver!

This product does work. My son was diagnosed with mild ADHD and the doctor suggested that we put him on medication. I am fearful of the many side effects that this medication has and sought a natural approach. My son has been taking these supplements for about 2 months and I really see a difference. Not only do I see a difference, but others who know him have commented that he seems more focused and less high strung. He actually sits through an entire meal and eats. I feel that this is the way to go for us.

My grandson has been diagnosed with ADHD and was given a prescription for a medication to help him concentrate in school. My daughter (his mother) was understandably hesitant to medicate him. I found this product on Amazon and figured it was worth a try. It worked so gradually that we really didn't notice the transition or that it was, in effect, making a difference. Then he had a stomach virus and didn't take it for four days. That is when we noticed how much more active and less attentive he became. After taking it again for a few days, we went back to what we call the &#34;new normal.&#34;<br /><br />Don't get me wrong: this isn't a cure. What it does is tune down the hyperactivity somewhat so he can concentrate a little more, listen longer, get a little less frustrated, and be a little more still when doing ordinary things (like watching Ninja Turtles without jumping on the furniture.) He is still an active child, he still struggles, but he blends pretty well in with the other first graders. His teacher is satisfied with his progress and seldom has a complaint. He is still the same happy, smart, loving, and fun child he has always been and we are delighted that we didn't put him on a strong medication that might have changed his personality. We love him just the way he is.

This product works well for inattentive children. My son had difficulty finishing his work in class and being distracted by others finishing/talking. Homework took forever. He takes this product plus Omega 3(GNC or Dr. Sears has some wonderful chewable versions that taste good)daily with breakfast. This product is chewable and does not taste bad. He hardly ever brings homework home anymore, A honor roll, and his teacher has noticed a huge difference for the better. When I went for his teacher conference she said, "I have nothing to say to you other than he's doing great, keep doing whatever you're doing, he's got all A's." We have been very pleased and notice a immediate difference if we ever forget to have him take it. It needs to be taken daily and on the weekends to keep the levels consistent. I would highly recommend it!
