good product but check units

Ive been using the 5000iu gel caps for years and purchasing from Amazon. The last bottle was incorrectly labelled as 5,000iu and was actually only 1,000iu. It would explain why my energy levels were a bit low since I just noticed as I finished the bottle. Make sure you get the correct product.

I saw a good price on the gel-caps and decided to try those ...

We have used the standard Source Naturals D-3 for years with no issues.
I saw a good price on the gel-caps and decided to try those out. Immediately my wife started breaking our in hives. They went away when she stopped using it. I suppose there is a possibility it was not these that caused it, but we cant pinpoint any other "new" things in her diet, so it looks like these my not be hypo-allergenic.
So, I guess, be careful if you plan to use these. If you're susceptible to allergy issues, you might be better off using the standard Source Naturals D3 instead of the Gel caps.

Good, reasonably priced source for high dosing

A number of the experts on vitamin D recommend the D3 form of the product, and between 5,000-10,000 IU/day for health maintenance (since most of us office workers don't get enough time in the sun). Much higher than government recommendations (don't get me started about the undue influence of pharmaceutical companies who provide "experts" on vitamin D... who aren't!).

Source Naturals provides a trustworthy, high-quality product, at a good price.

Bad buy

The gel caps were all stuck together. I couldn’t even separate them. Poor quality!
I will never order them on Amazon again!
When I purchase them from store, quality is good!

great for Winter

This is a very good 'source' for V D3 especially in the Winter when you are not getting that much Sun.
