NOW CONTAINS RETINYL PALMITATE!!!!

NO LONGER MADE FROM FISH OIL!!!!! I have used Carlson Labs vitamin A for years because it was made from fish oil, but this most recent bottle that I received also has retinyl palmitate. No percentage is given of fish liver oil to synthetic. Very disappointing, as the product is still advertised as being from fish oil. I will be returning this.

Well...two years later, they say they have two products - one is "Vitamin A" which lists retinyl palmitate, and this product which is supposed to be 'Natural' and from fish oil. But the product I received STILL lists retinyl palmitate!!!! This is NOT vitamin A, it is a toxic synthetic. I'm done with Carlson's forever.

Different formula?

I've been using this brand and dosage for a while. This is the first bottle I've bought that the label states the source as "as/from fish liver oil and retinyl palmitate." My I'm still finishing up my previous bottle which states the source as "from fish liver oil." I prefer my vitamin A entirely from the liver of an animal and not synthetic, so I'll be looking to return this.

I swear by it!

I swear by this for my friends when they ask what helped to clear up my acne. One of my friends recommended this to me about two years ago because I had trouble with my break outs. I have been using it ever since and my skin has less break outs and it has helped to lighten my dark spots from the previous acne. I was not paid to write this review, but people ask me how did I clear up my acne and I credit this vitamin for being one of the factors for clearing up my skin!

Good High Dose Animal Derived Vitamin A

I like this brand of Vitamin A- it can be hard to find high dose, animal-derived vitamin A. My only issue is that the dose is a bit too high for my taste. Still, it is much closer to what I need than anything else, so I am happy with it.

False Advertising

I ordered the 'natural' version which is supposed to be only from fish oil. They slapped a sticker over it saying it was natural. Underneath it says from fish oil and retinyl palmitate. This is shameful and misleading. They are passing off toxic product and calling it natural. I can't wait for the class action lawsuit.
