Best natural protein for the value...
Let me start off by saying that i am an avid weight lifter and have 2 years of bodybuilding experience.

In regards to whey protein, I have tried everything from body-Fortress to paleo meal. Blue bonnets' whey protein is by far the best.
I have a strictly organic food based diet, so after using using most supplements out there i wanted to find something that would fit into my diet. This being said, Blue bonnets' whey protein is not "organic". It does not have a USDA seal of approval sticker and Blue bonnet does claim anywhere on the package that the product is organic. However, all ingredients are 100% natural, no artificial sweeteners/flavors are added, and the whey is derived from cows not treated with rBGH or antibiotics. It is also gluten free for those who have such intolerance. From my experience, this is the closest the product can get to organic without it actually being labeled "organic".

This product features what blue bonnet calls, "Dual action" Protein. Simply put, the mixture contains both 'Whey protein isolate' (fast absorbing), and 'Micellar Casein' (slowly digested protein similar to Whey). Whey protein isolate will be absorbed by the body quickly upon the end of the workout. Casein is absorbed much more slowly and will help repair muscle throughout the rest of the day, even through moments of inactivity. A sort of "extended-release" if you will.

Blue bonnets' Dual action whey protein is superior because of a much greater "gram-to-scoop" ratio.
Most whey protein will advertise, "50 grams of protein per serving!". However, upon further inspection, the label will show that 2 scoops are needed to complete a serving. This is inefficient and not very cost effective.
Blue bonnets' Dual action whey protein contains 26g protein/34g scoop/ per serving. Meaning 2 scoops would yield 52g of protein. Which to my conclusion, is the best concentration and value of any natural whey protein powder.
The 2.1 lbs tub contains 28 servings which translates to roughly $1.59 per scoop.

This Whey protein blends very easily and tastes great. I have tried all the flavors and i highly recommend chocolate. Strawberry was a bit lacking but the choice is up to you.

Whether you are new to bodybuilding or are simply wanting to try something new, i highly recommend Blue bonnets' Dual action whey protein.

Note: This product is sold by weight, not by volume. This means only about half the tub will be full. Dont worry, you are still getting your 2.1 pounds.

Good but....
I'm training for a figure (bodybuilding competition) and needed a casein protein powder to take before going to bed because casein is a slow digesting protein and feeds the muscles while you're sleeping. I like this product because of the high quality of ingredients. I discovered it at Whole Foods, which only carries the one pound container for $26.99. Unfortunately this size only contains 14 servings so I was purchasing twice a month and doing the math, that gets pricey. The 2lb container is a much better deal and will last about a month. I have both the vanilla and chocolate flavors and prefer the vanilla. I mix it easily in a shaker with non-fat milk to get the extra protein. The problem I have with this product is that it doesn't carry me through a 7 hr night of sleep. It only lasts about 4 hrs. My hunger pangs wake me up and I have the choose to get up and "feed the muscle" or lay in bed and let catabolism set in. Catabolism is a physiologyical state where your body feeds on the muscle you've worked hard to build. I don't want that so I'm up at 4a or 5a (even on weekends) to intake more protein. If your'e a bodybuilder I would suggest that if you're using this to take you through the night that you have your last meal + this as a protein shake just before going to bed. You just might get a full nights sleep. If not, you may be up 4 hours later. With that being said, if you know you're going to be unable to have a meal for two to four hour period of time, this is a perfect protein.

High quality, healthy, but not as sweet as I would like.
Let me start by saying that I've been using [[ASIN:B003U0E044 CytoSport makers of Muscle Milk 100% Whey Protein 27g 6lb Bag of Vanilla]] bought from Costco for the last few years. I heard Tim Ferris mention Bluebonnet Protein Power on a video cast, so decided to try it out.

Pros:
* Fine texture, mixes easily
* All organic and natural
* Sweetened with the natural sweetener stevia (which I'm convinced is great in moderation after reading wikipedia and other sites)

Cons:
* Not as sweet as the sucralose / ace-k combination that I'm used to. I find myself adding natural sugar when mixing it with my oatmeal.
* A bit expensive

I have a feeling I'll be back to buy more...

High quality, decent taste
I selected this product for two reasons; one because it is a mixture of whey and casein protein powder, and two, because it is sourced from grass-fed cows. Recent research has shown a mixture of whey and casein protein powder to be the most effective combination of post-workout protein supplementation, and this powder fits that profile quite well. It is also well known that eating protein from grass-fed cows also offers significant nutritional benefits over other forms of protein.

The flavor of this protein powder is good, though perhaps a little sweeter than I care for (but I have almost no taste for sweets, so I suspect this wouldn't bother many people). It's worth noting that while the serving size is described as "one scoop", the scoop included is about twice the size of most scoops, so the serving size is comparable to other protein powders.

One complaint; like so many other protein powder containers, this container is twice the size it needs to be for the amount of powder included. One would hope that Amazon starts to enforce more efficient packaging to cut down on such wasteful practices. Still this is highly recommended.

Great Product
This product tastes great (sweetened by Stevia) and mixes well in water as well as smoothies. I also use it to make homemade protein snacks and it never disappoints. The quality of this product in that it comes from organic sources is important to me, in addition to how it is produced by low heat methods ensuring the usefulness of the protein and amino acids are maintained. The cost of the product found here, is much lower than in the one brick and mortar store I know that carries it where I live.
Now, if I could just get it on auto-ship!
