I use it every day!
My liver hurts if I don't take at least one dose of these herbs every day. I've been taking them for years and I can't function without them. They're best taken on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, and then I don't eat for at least 40 minutes.<br /><br />Here's what I have found works best for me:<br />I add about 6 ounces of water to a half-pint mason jar, squirt some liquid minerals in, add a few drops each of lemon essential oil and peppermint essential oil, and then add a tablespoon of these freeze-dried herbs. Then I put the lid on the jar and either shake it a whole bunch OR let it sit for 15 minutes to allow the powder to slowly get wet and make it easier to mix in. After shaking, I take the lid off and drink the whole thing WITH A STRAW. (If I drink it without a straw, there is too much sediment left over in the bottom of the jar. It's so much easier with a straw.) After I drink it all in one breath with the straw, I fill the jar with water, put the lid on, shake one more time to get the remnants, and then drink. I can feel it working and it feels so good!<br /><br />I have tried taking plain milk thistle, and while it helps, the other ingredients in these freeze-dried herbs make it work much better.<br /><br />The jar says it contains 18 servings, but I can't get that many servings out of a single jar. I go through a jar every 10-12 days (1 serving a day).<br /><br />Sometimes I will take more than one dose a day, but none of them make as big a difference as that dose first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. And if I eat right away, I can tell it doesn't work as well. I would rather completely skip breakfast than eat too soon after taking my herbs.<br /><br />Edit: I was told by an employee at the health food store that taking pure essential oils internally is fine occasionally but can be bad for your liver. So I have stopped adding the peppermint oil and lemon oil to my concoction. I still take these herbs every day though.
