I had to write this review because while i am not new to taking Glutathione, in various forms, this form which doesn't have to be purchased through a practitioner, still gives amazing results. Let me explain.....I have been taking glutathione for a few years now, the first form i tried was IV through my natural dr's office, while this is the best way to get G into the body it was about 92 dollars a pop! So i then tried, through the same dr, glutathione liposomal because that is supposed to be the next best form of G, which was in capsule form, which you cannot just buy online or over the counter. a bottle of that was about 63 dollars. That form did actually work well for me but i didn't want to drive to the dr's office every time to get a new bottle.<br />Ok so then i switched from the natural dr to seeing an acupuncturist who i purchased another kind of liposomal G from which was a thick liquid which was again taken by mouth, 1 teaspoon. While that wasn't as good as the capsule form mentioned above and no where near as good as the IV, it was 54 dollars a bottle and taking only 1 teaspoon daily it did last a while, longer than the capsules. So i wasn't really impressed with that version and i started to search other online manufacturers of liposomal G, i found two diff types i purchased on amazon but clearly after those being tested by my acupuncturist they were not nearly as good and i could hardly tell that they were affecting me at all in a positive way.<br /><br />By this time I switched to another acupuncturist who sold G in a capsule form not liposomal type (which is supposed to be better absorption) but i didn't want to buy that kind. I remembered that some where along the way i purchased a bottle of Jarrow G and liked the results, but i couldn't remember how great the results were because i was too busy focusing on trying to get something as close to the results from the IVs i used to get. Ok so about 3 years later and totally dissatisfied with the purchases of lipsomal glutathione online, i thought i would try the Jarrow brand again. The reviews were alot better than most of the G product reviews, also i am a fan of Jarrow products they are of high quality. I take alot of supplements, homeopathic and regular pill form supplements for preventive type medicine, to keep myself as healthy as possible. So i'm not new to supplements, herbs, medicinal teas, homeopathic tinctures....etc and so forth.<br /><br />This product is amazing, i can tell you how i know, when you take glutathione in the right dose and of good quality you have an incredible feeling of well being, you get the best sleep every single night, i actually wake up BEFORE my alarm clock goes off in the morning, generally about an hour before it goes off, it gives me amazing energy, natural energy, it's like night and day. The results you get when you don't take it and then when you introduce G into your body. It is truly amazing i will forever take it for the rest of my life, glutathione that is. It keeps my young and energetic and that's a good thing.<br /><br />I am a 47 yr old grand mother, just turned this month, am perimenopausal, i get ALL of the same great benefits of a glutathione IV as with this product, now i know it's not the same but i explained all of the above to help you make a decision as to the best product you can buy for yourself. I will stick with this quality as it is the easiest to purchase, at cheapest price, AND still delivers great results. I take one a day. I come home from a long day, and all i can do is think about working out! i have so much energy even if i go to bed at 12 oclock at night, my body still wakes up before the clock alarms, fully rested, i feel great and am very pleased with this product. I'm not a young spring chicken any more, laugh, but this product helps me feel as close to that as possible.<br /><br />I also take this product with 8 mg of Jarrow Astxanthan (which is another amazing products for inflammation, stiffness..its a powerful antioxidant.etc), i take these along with' B complex with intrinsic factor' and hair vitamin called Dasgro (lots of good stuff in that as well), i also add wheat grass tablets and have recently added phosphatidylcholine. That's pretty much what i take that keeps me young and energetic and at my optimal health. I will continue buying this product. First of all, I'm a supplement veteran who has experimented with a wide variety of supplements, minerals, amino acids, and herbals over the years. I also read a LOT of health-related literature and research studies.<br /><br />Jarrow, in my opinion, is one of the best supplement brands out there, as far as offering high quality, reliable supplements at excellent prices and with fewer fillers than other brands.<br /><br />I decided to try this glutathione to see if it would work in concert with an antioxidant/anti-inflammatory supplement regimen I've been experimenting with: high dose [[ASIN:B001GCTWLE Twinlab Niacin (B-3) 1000mg]], high dose Vitamin C, and high dose [[ASIN:B002FJU0WM Jarrow Formulas MSM Powder]]. This is something you have to GRADUALLY work your way up to (and probably only with your medical advisor's help/approval), but I'm currently using 1.5 to 2 grams of niacin, 7 grams of Vitamin C, and 5 grams of MSM daily (plus the 500 mg glutathione).<br /><br />Niacin itself helps create glutathione in the body, so my thinking process was that this glutathione would enhance the potency of this effect. I've used 1/2 the bottle so far (one 500 mg capsule daily), and I think my theory was correct. My skin looks smoother and the freckling on my skin is actually lightening (a sign of reducing glycation--in other words, the antioxidant is working to reduce some tissue oxidation).<br /><br />I'll update in a few months to let you know if this trend continues. I have not experienced any side effects [I've moved well past the "niacin flush" stage : )].<br /><br />Glutathione is said to be a potent antioxidant, immune system booster, and a liver detoxifier. Some use it for supposed anti-aging benefits, and I have read that macular degeneration is associated with LOW glutathione levels. Researchers are also exploring the links between LOW levels of glutathione in the brain and Parkinson's disease. I've also read that glutathione is one of the most important antioxidants for maintaining optimal brain and nervous system health. In some reading I've done, it was thought that glutathione couldn't be successfully supplemented (in other words, you had to give your body the building blocks to make its own supply) HOWEVER, this particular source was written before REDUCED glutathione was introduced.<br /><br />So far, my experience with Jarrow's Reduced Glutathione has been very encouraging. I've ordered a second bottle, so I'll update this review once I've finished both bottles and let you know what I find.<br /><br />Please keep in mind that supplements work slowly, over time, and their effects often take several weeks to several months to become obvious.<br /><br />If you have any questions about this Glutathione, please feel free to leave me a comment & I'll be happy to help you, if I can. OMGGGG! Not exaggerating this stuff is fantastic, like a happy pill. It improved my focus, energy levels drastically and it makes me extremely happy and calm, I love it! I hit the weights hard the other day and STILL had energy afterward like I didn't even do anything. I will buy this the rest of my life.

This one really works in whitening the skin, when taken with 500 mg Vitamin C. Give it about a month at 2 capsules twice a day with C and you'll start to see a difference. I'm Filipino medium brown, so it might take a while if you are very dark, but it is worth a try. Also make you feel great.

I bought this for my 95 year old mother who has dementia. Glutathione is one of the strongest antioxidants that protects the brain. The problem is that a glutathione supplement is not one that is easily used by the body and does not necessarily get past the blood/brain barrier. The reduced form has the best chance to be used by the body. We are seeing improvement in my mother, but I can't honestly say that this supplement is contributing to the improvements.

I’ve been taking this for about 3 months now. I just take it as a part of my daily and nightly pill regimen. Then one day, I noticed that my skin was lighter and more toned. The lightening was on my whole body not just the face. The texture of the skin of my face and body was soft, smooth and dewy like baby skin. I don’t wear any makeup at all now, not even eye makeup or lipstick because my skin is so smooth. Also, my hair has not been falling out, it is growing longer faster. I know that it’s due to the glutathione because this was a dramatic and sudden change without me doing nothing else differently. I love this!
