What I like about this product is that it works in a subtle way. Within a short time after taking one capsule, I feel a gentle lift of energy that carries me through the day. I immediately start getting things done.

I've been using this product for over 30 years and its always worked great for me. You need to take it on an empty stomach to be effective and I'm usually completely alert with 15 minutes or so. The person who complained about a pounding heart is most likely sensitive to one of the ingredients and he should not be taking it-- but that's his body, not the product and not a reason to give a one star rating. The one real caveat, though, is that Phenylalinine (the primary active ingredient) can raise your blood pressure. So, you need to check your blood pressure when you take this and stop if you find that it elevates you blood pressure too much.

Basically when I take even a small dose of these pills it hurts my chest and gets my heart pumping but does nothing for my energy level im still tired and yawning only with my heart racing I get headaches and need to drink a ton of water because it dehydrates me. I ended up giving this product to a family member and warning them about my side effects he is now trying them out.
