I generally don't write reviews. However, after just getting the results of my latest ferritin test I wanted to give this product my endorsement. My ferritin has been low for 4 years. It was around 60 and kept going down - latest was about 40. My naturopath told me my thinning hair could be the result of low iron. I tried many different kinds of iron pills but couldn't handle the constipation. I tried this and took it for about 3 months. My latest ferritin results is 127! I can hardly believe it! It does not have the full on constipation affect other iron pills do and it works. There is some need to drink more water and exercise because it is an iron pill - but well tolerable if you need to raise your ferritin.

I supplement with this to help with a vegetarian/low iron diet. For my purpose, it works incredibly well. I couldn't figure out why I was so wiped out by noon. I thought eating health was supposed to make you feel better! I started looking into my symptoms and it sounded like low iron to a T. I started taking this and within 3 days I felt way better. I have now been taking it for two weeks and I feel like a new person.

I am a doctor and I prescribe this to all my patients with iron defecieny anemia. It does not constipate like most iron preparations. I've sen severe iron defeciency anemias corrected in 1-2 months using this. It's costs less than a lot of other over the counter iron pills.

I absolutely love the Pure Encapsulation brand of vitamins. My doctor introduced me to the Pure Encapsulation Ultra-Nutrient vitamins and Iron-C. Being a 47-year old woman, I have not felt better since taking these two vitamins. I recommend this brand to all of my friends both male and female especially if they're complaining about lack of energy and being forgetful. I have always been one to exercise but I was still tired throughout the day. If I got stressed, I would become very forgetful but I have not had this problem since I've started taking these vitamins. I have used other brands of vitamins but none has lived up to this brand. Pure Encapsulation is well worth the price.

If you have to take iron supplements, this is the easiest to take. I still had some of the stomach issues that iron is notorious for causing, but while I was on this product, they lessened considerably. Most of all it worked!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot take vitamins so I was a little skeptical when this brand was recommended. I can't say enough good about them, I have no issues taking them. Now I take this Iron-C, I take their Vitamin C, Vitamin B-12, and Folic Acid. They are great.
