Serving size

You have to take five of these to get your 100% DV. Unless you zoom in on the back label, you wouldn't know it. I certainly didn't find this out until I had started taking them - why don't they state this in the description? So you have to take five large pills daily and this bottle of 300 is for 60 days only. Rip off. Now I'm noticing most vitamin listings on eBay don't show serving size, mg, etc. - only # of pills in bottle. Amazon MUST ask all supplement providors to show units or miligrams within every pill, tablet, capsules, etc. or an image with table of contents.

Contains Titanium Dioxide - Classified as "possible carcinogenic to humans"

I should've looked closer at the ingredient list. I try to avoid any kind of non-food-based color additive and didn't realize that's what titanium dioxide was until I got my bottle and that was in parenthesis. This immediately raised my concerns, so I did some research and found this information at the National Institute of Health: [...]

The only thing I was told reat product

One thing I learned from nurse at Mayo is to take half of the five capsules in AM and other half in evening b/c body can't/won't absorb them all at once so it's a waste.

Not worth it, get something better

Oxide is worthless. The magnesium in this is mostly oxide. Too many pills, pills too big.

The better choice just TOO MANY PILLS 5 a DAY!

Trying to decide which vitamin is best is some what daunting. Solgar has always had a great reputation and I feel safer with their vitamins. They are more expensive but being primarily a vegan I need to really trust the company I am getting my calcium from. So far I am pleased with the results that I seeing. I had been using Sams Club calcium when I started reducing my dairy I lost my nails, kept splitting and my dental implants started giving me problems. I added Solgar botin and this calcium about 4 months ago and I am starting to see great improvements. I also like the 250mg size. I just hate that you need to take 5 of them, which is why I have reduced this done to a 4 star. I miss too many and when I travel for work I have ended up running out and having to purchase calcium on the road.

Too much bulk

I read the reviews and thought I could get around the 5 pills/day. I couldn't, they were the size of small dog biscuits.<br />All that bulk was constipating.... Don't buy them no matter what the rating.
