This vitamin/mineral complex is very effective in the treatment of depression and anxiety. I read a couple years ago that calcium magnesium and zinc were all great minerals to help treat my anxiety, but this particular mix is the best I have tried yet. I can really tell if i forget to take them. The affect is that drastic. I have tried other calcium/magnesium/zinc complexes available and they don't even touch my anxiety. This one has reliably kept my anxiety at a manageable level for the past couple years. I don't even know where I would be with out it.

I'm not going to say this is the elixir of life, but as a 40 something, these supplements seem to make a difference. Without taking these I just did not have the inclination to drop and do, perhaps, 20 pushups. I started taking these pills and noticed that I didn't have any godly boost of energy, I just had the wherewithal to drop and grit my teeth through 10 pushups at first. Then I did 2 sets of 20 the next day. then I did multiple sets of 30 the following day. So I guess the supplements just allowed me to push through that brick wall of not having enough energy to even try to exercise. It still hurts to exert myself, but I am just happy that I CAN exert myself.

I think everyone needs to find the supplements that work best for them. This calcium is liquid inside of a gel capsule and absorbs quickly. I know it is giving me the best amount of calcium because when I don't take it I have leg cramps, can't sleep, feel nervous, and can't relax. This is another on my list of must haves!

This is an excellent product. It is a huge gel cap, but I take it with my morning coffee, using the hot coffee to soften the gel cap enough to pop it open and squirt the insides into my mouth. It does not taste bad. Then I spit out the empty cap. It is better than the liquids, I think, because the liquids often contain flavorings, sweeteners, and other additives. This doesn't have any of that. I used to buy tablets and grind them into a powder with a mortar and pestle to add to my morning cereal, but this is more convenient.

Last year I was diagnosed with osteopenia after a CT scan of my pelvis. One year later I had rods placed in my SI joint due to sacroiliitis. I was very worried that they would not be able to perform my surgery because of the osteopenia, but after having another CT scan and a SPECT scan, I was cleared for surgery. They surgeon's assistant even commented the next day about how hard my bones were. I was very pleased to hear that. This product definitely worked for me!

Usually I can't tell the difference between one vitamin supplement and another. However, since taking this formula, my nightly leg cramps have greatly diminished. That's enough to convince me to order more in spite of the fact that they are "horse pills"---very large, though they are soft and go down pretty easy. And, the recommended dosage is 3 per day. I'm doing good to remember AM & PM so I take one in the morning and 2 before bed. Thank you NOW Foods!
