This is a great vitamin C tablet

This is a great vitamin C tablet. I like that it is coated so it is easier to swallow. So many Vitamin C tablets are not coated and therefore more difficult to swallow. This tablet does not upset my stomach like so many and a 1000 MG is great amount of Vitamin C for a tablet. Vitamin C and D are two areas you do not want the deficiencies in because as we age, this deficiency allows the cancer cells in ones body to become activated. When I had cancer, I virtually had no vitamin D and little C in my body. Now I a use these supplements to help my cancer from coming back. Good luck with your vitamins and any deficiencies you may have.

Contains talc as an additive

I have used this product only for a few months. I began using sodium ascorbate because it is a more bio-available forms than other forms of vitamin c. However, and I don't know how the heck I missed this, but I just saw that an ingredient in this formulation is talc, which is a highly controversial additive considering its link to a variety of cancers. FDA considers it GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) but a variety of other sources cite studies linking it to cancer. Yes, I've read both sides of the argument. I have no desire to knowingly add another source of exposure to my family. No, I won't engage with the trolls who will attempt to counter my review. Think for yourselves and do with this information what you will. I, for one, will no longer give this product to my family.

Great product, I take between 10-18000mg daily

Great product. I used to use a lot of powder form. On top of it I use this tablet form. It's practical when I travel or at work. I take 1000mg in the morning, 2000mg at lunch, 4000mg at about 7PM and another 3000mg before bed. Higher dose at night makes me sleep like a bear. Apparently at these high doses it helps to detox from lead, mercury and any other toxins. I learned about it from older books, when doctors still wanted to cure patients. In modern medicine it seems that the current doctors just want to make money. Cured person is a lost paying customer to the doctor, hospital and the pharmaceutical companies. Reading books of Orthomolecular medicine from Abram Hoffer MD, Hyla Cass MD, Andrew Saul PhD helped me tremendously to learn about taking my health and my destiny to my hands.

I take 5000mg per day of Bronson Sodium Ascorbate. I carry the tablets in a small plastic bag when not at home. I use the Bronson powder when at home.

I also take 5000mg per day of LivOn Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C.

Best Vitamin C - easily absorbed and truly non-acidic - at a great price

Finally, no more filling capsules with the best non-acidic vitamin C. coated to preserve effectiveness, which is nice improvement from loading capsules from a supply that is exposed to oxygen which leads to a diminishing effect.

Very reasonable price and the right size too.
