This is the second time I have ordered the dual release melatonin by Swanson on Amazon. The melatonin helps me get to sleep fast and keeps me asleep all night, except for waking up briefly 1-2 times, but I am able to go back to sleep very quickly. And I don't feel drowsy in the morning when I wake up. I am very, very happy with this product. There is no shipping fee and both times it has arrived in the mail several days before the estimated arrival date. Great product and a great company to order from !

We have been using this dual release Melatonin for about 4 years now and it works. You go to sleep fast and STAY asleep. The thing with Melatonin is there is a short window from when it kicks in, till when it no longer works. If you take it 1 hour before bedtime, you may get drowsy for a few minutes but unless you lay down and try to sleep, that feeling will go away. I think its best to take it right before you are really ready to go to sleep.

Still figuring the right dosage out. But 2 pills seems to get me nice and tired. Also seems to sooth my anxiety before bedtime. Just makes me very tired all morning but I think I'm taking it a little too late. So far though I'm impressed as I wasnt expecting it to work at all. Helping with anxiety is just a great plus.

I have tried other brands of melatonin and they just don't seem to work as well. With the 3 mg dual release, I get to sleep fast and stay asleep. it generally takes about 30 minutes for the melatonin to kick in. It may not be so for others, I found that another supplement of 5 mg instant release, worked well for others but I had no luck with it. Every body is different but I recommend you try this one first. I love it!

I use Swanson dual release Melatonin every night. I ordered from here, and I received my package today. I am giving one star because the shipment arrived well packaged and intact. Unfortunately, I was sent regular melatonin, NOT dual release. There is a difference, and I am disappointed that what I ordered is not what I received.
