It's really nothing but high priced zinc. I buy them often because they're easily dissolvable lozenges and the best tasty ones out there. But it's honestly the same as a $2 bottle of zinc. It does the same thing.<br />I've used zinc for viruses for about 20 years. If you take it quick enough, you can kill almost any virus in a matter of hours. Well, not covid. Been there, tried it. It didn't get rid of it. But taking it for five days after getting sick is still a great idea. It lessens the severity even if it doesn't stop it completely.<br />I actually discovered it does work on the flu. Caught the flu in December and was able to get rid of it completely, & only with very mild symptoms in two days! The KEY is timing. If you don't carry it around with you & you get sick, you CANNOT wait hours to take it. It won't work. Always take with a lot food. It's hard on the stomach. Be well.

I know the Zicam and other zinc tablets are homeopathic, but they work for me when I get a cold. My local drugstore was out, and the best deal I could find on Amazon was almost double my local cost, but I purchased it anyway. It came on time and as described with a great big RiteAid sticker on it. Great product for its purpose, but I purchased it from a seller profiteering off the pandemic scare.

I've heard about Zicam before, but I was hesitant about how much people were raving about them. I decided to try it out and see for myself. And I'm not kidding, these work. I felt the symptoms of a cold coming on so I took the Zicam. The dissolving tablets are weird at first, especially if you're not used to it, but I got over it real quick. My cold only lasted a couple of days and the symptoms were not nearly as bad as I'm used to. I now swear by Zicam because it works!

I heard about these and wanted to give them a try. I didn't read until I had them that they are rapidmelts. So not a fan of that but decided to give them a shot. The flavor is great at first but the more it melts the more chalk taste ya get at the end. I wish they had a gummy or a candy type of thing to suck on Instead or just a pill to swallow.

Whenever I start feeling the slightest bit unwell like I might be coming down with something I take one of these and a sambucol and I usually feel better within a couple hours and never get very sick.
