I started taking Biotin Forte about two years ago, my hair had fell out around my edges and in spots on my head. Since then the spots has all filled back in and my edges are growing in as well .

I couldn't find this product at my local pharmacy, so I ordered it on line. It was recommended by my personal physician because I have problems with splitting fingernails. I found that taking one pill in the morning and one pill in the evening has helped my fingernails to stop splitting. As told me by my doctor, it took several months to accomplish this. There is no best way to use this as I started out taking only one pill and found that it slowed the splitting of my nails but didn't stop it. That's why I started taking two pills a day as described above. I'm seeing better results, now. So far, there is no down side to this product. Since the B vitamins are water soluble, they don't build up in soft tissue. That is a plus for me. I haven't checked health food stores for this product, but I have found that purchasing from health food stores is more expensive, anyway.

Have use before at the suggestion of my dermatologist for the deep ridges in my fingernails. It seems to help to some extent. Like everything else these days, I'm certain they will tell me that "it goes along with the aging process".
