A truely effective form of Magnesium

Since I used to work in a high end supplement store (no not gnc, vitamin world, vitamin shoppe, I said high end ok?) I had access to countless brands and forms of magnesium and most of the time for free since the distributor representatives would just give them to me for free as a perk for the large orders that I would place with them to supply the particular location that I managed.
There are plenty of decent magnesium supplements out there, but there are also some pretty mediocre and plain out crappy ones as well.
The lowest end ones use Magnesium Oxide (gasp!) as the only source of mag in the product. Just be aware that magnesium oxide is very harsh and considered to be a laxative! Yes, for many individuals magnesium oxide will send you running to the bathroom! If you are constantly troubled with severe constipation then maybe that is a good thing lol.
Then there are the magnesium chelates(pronounced "key-lates"), of which most seem to be mixed with oxide as well. Be careful of when a label claims the product is chelated magnesium and when you look at the supplement facts it lists magnesium oxide as one of the ingredients and doesn't break it down for you as to how much is oxide and how much is a true chelate.

As far as I have been able to determine, Doctor's Best Magnesium is 100% true chelated magnesium which would explain why it seems to work so well.

I take magnesium for several reason. One is for a life long problem that I've had with charley horses or cramping. Not just in the legs either, but all over my body, even my eyelids!!!

Another reason I take magnesium is for relaxation. 2 of these tablets before bed time and you will sleep like a baby :)

I don't know what else to say other than this is a great product, perhaps one of the best magnesium supplements available anywhere and at a very affordable price.

In my book it scores a 10 in "bang for the buck" because of how effective it is for what it costs.

Very Satisfied!

I purchased this brand of Magnesium recently as a natural supplement to lower blood pressure as recommended by a naturopathic doctor. It produces great results in combination with other supplements. It has allowed me to avoid having to take prescription medication with all of the side effects. Great product and highly recommend the Doctors Best brand.

After taking it for couple months I realized it contains Propylene Glycol in it. I prefer to take supplements without this ingredient.

I take two of these a day. They help with lower back pain, energy and leg cramps.

I have been taking Natural Calm Magnesium for a couple of weeks now with good results. When I saw these pills I figured it would be easier than mixing a powder 3x per day. Unfortunately for me there is something in these pills my body doesn't like. They gave me a terrible stomach ache and nausea. I tried taking them on three separate occasions just to see if perhaps it was something else bugging me but all three times I had the same reaction.
